Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance & eligibility

By joining our waitlist, applying as a Founding Captain, creating an account, or ordering from Daylimeal, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. Daylimeal currently delivers only within our published Accra zones — East Legon, Airport City, Cantonments and Osu — and we may open or close zones by demand at any time.

2. Service description

Daylimeal provides a subscription-based weekday lunch service — fresh Ghanaian meals delivered to customers and partner offices in Accra, prepared by our partner kitchens.

3. Subscription plans & pricing

We offer Everyday (GH₵250/week list; GH₵200/week founding rate), Signature (GH₵350/week) and Executive (GH₵500/week) plans, each including five meals delivered Monday to Friday. Plans differ in menu access and meal specification as published on our menu and pricing pages. A VIP plan (GH₵1,500/week) is planned and not yet active. Founding members — those who join the waitlist before their delivery zone opens — keep the founding Everyday rate for as long as their subscription stays continuously active; if a subscription lapses for four weeks or more, the then-current list price applies on rejoining. Plans and pricing may otherwise change with notice.

4. Account & phone verification

Your phone number is your Daylimeal account identifier. We verify it by SMS one-time code when you sign up and sign in. You are responsible for keeping your phone number and password secure, keeping your number up to date, and for all activity under your account.

5. Weekly planning & cutoff

You plan and edit each week’s meals until the Sunday 6pm GMT cutoff. After the cutoff, the coming week’s selections are confirmed with our partner kitchens and can no longer be changed.

6. Delivery

Meals are delivered between 12 and 1pm on weekdays, within our published Accra delivery areas. You must be available to receive your delivery or designate an authorised recipient at your home or office.

7. Payment terms

Individual subscriptions are billed in advance by mobile money or bank card via Paystack; we do not charge you until delivery is available in your area. Failed or reversed payments may result in service being paused until the balance is resolved. Institutional and team accounts may instead be billed by monthly invoice under a separate agreement between Daylimeal and the organisation.

8. Meal guarantee

If you do not love a meal, tell us and we will replace it free — this does not affect your right to pause or skip.

9. Cancellation

You may pause or cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard, before the weekly cutoff. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; we don’t lock you in and there is no cancellation penalty.

10. Founding Captains & referral rewards

Daylimeal may invite members to become Founding Captains or otherwise refer new subscribers in exchange for rewards (such as a share of a referred subscriber’s first payment, or free meal weeks), as described on our Founding Captains page or communicated to you directly. The following terms govern any such reward:

  • Participation is voluntary and at Daylimeal’s sole discretion — we may change reward amounts, conditions, or discontinue the program at any time, with reasonable notice for rewards already earned
  • Rewards are paid only for genuine referrals — one reward per unique subscriber, verified by phone number and delivery address
  • Referring yourself, creating duplicate or fake accounts, or otherwise gaming the program is prohibited, and Daylimeal may withhold, reverse, or reclaim rewards obtained through fraud or abuse
  • Rewards are paid to the mobile money number on file, on the schedule stated in the current program terms
  • Being a Captain does not make you an employee, contractor, or agent of Daylimeal — you have no authority to bind Daylimeal to any promise or agreement, and you may not represent yourself as speaking on Daylimeal’s behalf beyond sharing the current published offer
  • You are responsible for any tax obligations arising from rewards you receive, and Daylimeal may request information reasonably needed to comply with Ghanaian tax law
  • Colleagues you refer pay Daylimeal directly — you never collect or handle payment from anyone you refer

11. Partner kitchens

Daylimeal is the merchant of record for every order. Meals are prepared by independent partner kitchens that we vet for quality and food safety; the specific kitchen preparing your meal may change as we grow, without affecting your plan or pricing.

12. Food safety & allergies

We maintain food-safety standards with our partner kitchens. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, tell us in advance. We cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens.

13. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including reselling meal plans, submitting false information, or attempting to circumvent our pricing, referral, or verification systems.

14. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the affected meal, delivery, or referral reward. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Daylimeal will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Ghanaian courts.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our service evolves. We will update the date below when we do, and continued use of Daylimeal after a change means you accept the updated terms.
